A fingerprint is only half of what a website checks, though. The other half is the network, and a spotless fingerprint sitting on a datacenter IP still reads as unusual. What Vision needs from a proxy

Each Vision profile carries its own proxy configuration in the proxy section of the profile settings: a type, a host, a port, and a username and password. Vision can test the proxy before the profile launches and will report the resulting IP, country and often the network. It then uses that IP to set timezone, locale hints and geolocation for the profile.

For those derived values to be believable, the IP has to look like a real consumer connection in a real place. A mobile IP from a US carrier does that naturally. It resolves to AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon and to a recognisable metro, which is what Vision passes along to the sites you visit.

Setting up a SpoofProxies proxy in a Vision profile

In your SpoofProxies dashboard each proxy shows a host, an HTTP port, a SOCKS5 port, a username and password, and a per-proxy rotation link. Keep that page open while you configure Vision.

Create a profile in Vision and open the proxy section of the profile settings. Choose HTTP for the plainest configuration or SOCKS5 when you want UDP support and DNS inside the tunnel. Paste the host, the port that matches the protocol you picked, and the username and password. Run the test and confirm a United States result on a carrier network.

Let Vision derive timezone and geolocation from the proxy rather than setting them by hand. This is the single most useful consistency habit: if the IP later moves to another metro, the profile follows it. Save the profile and open it. Sticky sessions keep the reputation intact

Reputation is built across a session. A site watches the same cookies, the same fingerprint and the same IP behave normally over time, and its trust score for that visitor rises. Changing the IP in the middle breaks that thread. For any Vision profile that logs in, run the proxy in sticky mode and keep one IP for the full session.

Between sessions you can rotate as often as you like. Rotations on SpoofProxies are unlimited on every plan with no wait between changes, triggered from the rotation link or the API. Per-request rotation is still useful for profiles that only browse public pages, such as ad verification or price checks. The important thing is to be deliberate: assign sticky proxies to account profiles and rotating proxies to research profiles, and label them so the two never get swapped.

Scaling cleanly across many profiles

One proxy per profile is the safest structure for reputation. If two unrelated accounts share an IP and one of them behaves badly, the other inherits the consequences. Where profiles legitimately belong together, such as a brand account and its manager account, sharing a proxy is fine, and Vision's grouping and tagging keeps that relationship visible.

Troubleshooting inconsistencies

Authentication errors usually mean the wrong port for the selected protocol. HTTP and SOCKS5 ports differ on the same host, so recheck which one you pasted. Also confirm the username and password have no trailing spaces, which some clipboard tools add.

A geolocation mismatch appears when the profile has a manual timezone from an earlier proxy. Set it back to automatic and re-run the proxy test. If a site sees an IP that is not the proxy, look at the profile's WebRTC setting and prefer SOCKS5 so DNS resolution also leaves through the mobile link.

Unexpected logouts point to a rotation fired while the profile was active. Check any automation that calls rotation links and make sure it only runs between sessions. If the proxy test passes but pages feel slow, see whether another process is sharing the same proxy with a heavy download.
